Cribs? Bassinets or Moses baskets? Deciding on the perfect baby bed for your little one can be a tricky decision for most parents, especially if you’re a newbie.

In the end, what you buy really depends on what is a priority. If you prefer that baby sleeps in a snug environment, get a Moses basket. As most measure between 78cm and 90cm in length and 30cm or less in width, you won’t need much space in the bedroom either.

These infant baskets — often made of durable wicker — come with two handles, so that you can carry it easily from place to place. Some even come with a built-in stand, so that it can also function as a stand-alone crib.

The only downside is that a Moses basket can only support your baby for the first three to four months of their life or until bubba can sit up or turn around on their own.

But it’s still the choice for many parents as they prefer their newborns to sleep in their room. This way, you can respond to your crying cherub immediately. We’ve rounded up a few Moses baskets for you to consider.
